Does anyone know where I can download iTunes 6? I used to have it, but I upgraded to iTunes 7 because that was the oldest version that was compatible with my iPod nano. But I would rather use iTunes 6. What I really need is a copy of each; can anyone help??? Remember, I don't want to downgrade iTunes 7.
Itunes 6 Download For Mac
The download didn't work. When I finally got to the "Installation Type" part of the installer, I did an easy install and I got a message saying "You cannot continue. There is nothing to install." So I clicked "Customize" and there were 3 checkboxes. It wouldn't let me check any of them. Does this mean I have to resort to backing up file and erasing and reinstalling OS X or is there another way to get iTunes 6?
iTunes 12.6.3 is available to download for Mac and Windows users, and can be easily installed over iTunes 12.7 to regain the native iOS App Store functionality for improved iPhone and iPad app management. Users who would like to have the iOS App Store functionality in iTunes on their computers again should download and install the alternative iTunes release. The ease of installation prevents the need to downgrade iTunes 12.7 or fiddle with the somewhat hidden iTunes 12.7 method of transferring apps and ringtones to an iPhone or iPad.
Downloading and installing iTunes 12.6.3 also stops iTunes from asking the user to download any new versions, so if you want to stay on iTunes 12.6.3 with the App Store, ringtones, and other features that are since removed from future versions, you can easily do so.
Apple is offering an alternative version of iTunes available to download, it has the App Store. Thus if you want the App Store in iTunes, installing iTunes 12.6.3 is the only option aside from downgrading.
iTunes download for Windows looks highly similar to the Mac app. The entertainment tool retains its white-colored interface, clean and minimalistic function placement, and convenient navigation. However, the features that make it stand apart from other similar applications are high-quality music downloads with no expiration date, multiple device support, family sharing, and a free trial of Apple Music.
Once downloaded, you can use it to access music files saved on your dashboard, listen to the radio, or buy music from the iTunes Store. All your purchases get saved in your library, and you can download them as and when you like. Downloading iTunes also gives you a free trial of Apple Music, a streaming service with over 70 million songs.

A few months later version 1.1 was released, bundled with Mac OS X v10.0 it included updates to the visual effects, support for more CD burners, stability/performance improvements and multi-lingual support. iTunes 2.0 was the first version to support the original iPod. iTunes 3.0 saw the introduction of the Smart Playlist which is a clever tool that organizes music suited to your taste i.e. Jazz, pop or songs with high ratings. Version 3.0 also came with audiobook support. The music store, later renamed to the iTunes store arrived in iTunes 4.0.Video playback support was introduced in version 4.8 but was much later improved in iTunes 7.x, along with major GUI changes and better iPod syncing. Leading up to iTunes 8.0 we saw support for Apple TV and newly emerging devices such as the iPhone. Consequently in version 7.7 the iPhone and iPod touch were enabled to act as remotes for wireless iTunes control.Leading up to the release of version 10.5.3.3 in 2012 we saw support for latest versions of the iPhone and the newly emerged iPad which included Wi-Fi Syncing and much improvements to the iTunes store providing application and book downloads.iTunes 4.0 up to 7.3.2 compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7. All versions later than 7.3.2 no longer support Windows 2000; only support for XP/Vista/7.There have been a number of complaints from users concerning the fact latest versions of iTunes fail to work with certain old versions of the Mac OS. For example iTunes 10.x requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later to function, if you have a prior version iTunes 10.x will not work, which has disappointed users as iPhone 4 requires iTunes 10+ to allow for syncing; if you have an OS prior to 10.5, iTunes 10 wonOther Internet Software1by1
